**Certain councils have re-opened the discretionary grant scheme**
Ealing:
A Restart Grant scheme was available for non-essential retail and hospitality and leisure businesses, including personal care sector and gyms. Eligibility criteria applied. Ealing Council automatically awarded these grants to recipients of the previous national lockdown grants in May 2021. Applications for other potential recipients closed on 9 June 2021.
A series of temporary rate reliefs and support is available to businesses.
The additional restrictions grant (ARG) fund is a one-off discretionary fund from the government that is aimed at a range of business sectors and must be distributed by 31 March 2022
Hillingdon:

It is a one-off business grant available to non-essential retail businesses (Strand One), and hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym or sport business premises (Strand Two).
The main Restart Grant scheme is only for businesses in the Rating List, ie businesses who are Businesses who do not pay rates directly to the council and rated businesses who are not included in the list above (e.g. takeaways and mobile businesses) may be eligible for a Restart Grant from the council’s discretionary grant scheme, the Additional Restrictions Grant.
Hounslow:
All Grant schemes for businesses that were previously available have now closed.
Brent:
This Back to Business Additional Restrictions grant is aimed at businesses that have been impacted by Covid-19 but have not been supported by the Restart Grant or the Local Restrictions Support Grant (LRSG).
This is a discretionary grant and the Council will assess your eligibility during this period using the details provided in the application form.

The Restart Grant is payable to eligible businesses that were mandated to close under the recent national lockdown and supports businesses that are predominantly reliant on delivering in-person services to the general public in the sectors referred to on the website.
Hammersmith and Fulham:
The Restart Grant application form has now closed. The closing date for applications for the Restart Grant was 11.59pm 30 June 2021.
